Reachability Results in Plane Trees

چکیده
In this paper, we obtain closed formulas for the number of reachable vertices in labelled plane trees by paths lengths, sinks, leaf first children, left most path, non-first and non-leaves. Our counting objects are having their edges oriented from a vertex lower label towards higher label. For each statistic, average vertices. Moreover, formula on $n$ such that exactly $k\leq n$ root.

Packing Steiner trees: a cutting plane algorithm and computational results
In this paper we describe a cutting plane algorithm for the Steiner tree packing problem. We use our algorithm to solve some switchbox routing problems of VLSI-design and report on our computational experience. This includes a brief discussion of separation algorithms, a new LP-based primal heuristic and implementation details. The paper is based on the polyhedral theory for the Steiner tree pa...
متن کاملReduction and covering of infinite reachability trees
We present a structure for transition systems with which the main decidability results on Petri nets can be generalized to structured transition systems. We define the reduced reachability tree of a structured transition system; it allows one to decide the finite reachability tree problem (also called the finite termination problem) and the finite reachability set problem. A general definition ...
متن کاملParameterized Reachability Trees for Algebraic Petri Nets
This paper is concerned with parameterized reachability trees, which have been proposed by M. Lindquist for predicate/transition nets. We discuss the application of this concept to algebraic nets. For this purpose a slight modification of several definitions is necessary due to the different net descriptions, transition rules and theoretical backgrounds. That’s why we present the whole concept ...
متن کاملEnumeration of Weighted Plane Trees
In weighted trees, all edges are endowed with positive integral weight. We enumerate weighted bicolored plane trees according to their weight and number of edges. 1 Preliminaries This note is not intended for a journal publication: it does not contain difficult results, and the proofs use only standard and well-known techniques. Furthermore, some of the results are already known. However, they ...
متن کاملPlane 3-trees: Embeddability & Approximation
We give anO(n log n)-time linear-space algorithm that, given a plane 3-tree G with n vertices and a set S of n points in the plane, determines whether G has a point-set embedding on S (i.e., a planar straight-line drawing of G where each vertex is mapped to a distinct point of S), improving the O(n)-time O(n)-space algorithm of Moosa and Rahman. Given an arbitrary plane graph G and a point set ...
